Sanibel - Saltwater Fishing Report
January has been pleasantly warm for weeks at a time. The Cold fronts have only spoiled one day of fishing as they move through. The afternoons have been the best in Jan. but if the warm weather keeps up, the mornings will be better soon.
January fishing trips have produced lots of fun fish, ladyfish, trout and some good fish mixed in as well. Redfish, and Pompano are still bitting. The Sharks are in!!, for the last week I have seen large Bulls and Lemon Sharks. We caught one each of the last two trips, both 8-9 ft. That's a lot of fun!
Check the weather and call today!.
