Sanibel fishing Charter

Capt. Dave Andrews
March 25, 2012
Sanibel - Saltwater Fishing Report

The windy days of March have brought a lot of fish to the boat. Trout, Mackrel, Redfish and a few pompano have been bitting. As the month draws to a close the Tarpon will start getting the attention. Yesterday's trip had us drifting and casting, a Tarpon rolled on the surface close to the boat. I quickly pinned a large white bait on a trout rig and pitched him to the tarpon. The tarpon took him on the surface and immediately spit out the bait.
Time to bring the Tarpon rods i guess. Lots of openings in April and May. Call to book your trip.
