Sanibel Island Fishing

Capt. Greg Hood

Sanibel - Saltwater Fishing Report

Sanibel Island Fishing

Well the cold fronts are moving in. Snook and Trout are out of season, but still a blast to catch.

Just as I said in earlier reports. The best idea is to wait until the winds lay down and the sun comes out, for some awesome top water action.

We did just that, this last week. I have never seen so many monster trout in one place.
We landed some trout weighing 5lbs.
One day we busted 17 trout 2 redfish and a 12lb. Snook.

Catching big fish like that is really fun on top water.

See ya on the water!
