Sanibel Island Fishing

Capt. Dave Andrews
February 21, 2011
Sanibel - Saltwater Fishing Report

Has anyone looked at the 10 day forecast for the weather????. Incredible Feb. weather, I think we have skipped into March, low of 60 and high of 80 deg with no rain for the next 10 days!!.
Yesterday I spent the day with my wife on the water around North Captiva. You need a jacket while the boat is moving, but take it off as soon as the boat stops. The water is crystal clear around the pass, we were drifting and looking at shells in 12ft. of water!. The fishing will only get better as the water warms, Trout are now bigger than 14 inches and spanish mackrel are invading. Redfish will be moving in giving us a shot at fish that are bigger than the rats we caught this winter. I have lots of days still open! Call to book your trip today 239-410-7194
