Sanibel - Saltwater Fishing Report

We've had a great week fishing here at Sanibel Island.
Tarpon season has just started and the silver is flying!
Everyone who fished with me was their 1st time to hook and boat a silver king.
All of them lost the 1st hook up. It's important to "bow to the King" as it enters back into the water.
We put 30 fishing in the air in the last 5 days.
I'm happy to report not one fish was attacked by sharks. All the Tarpon swam away under its own power.
I'll be heading to the pass this evening to see if the crabs are flowing. Catching Tarpon on crabs is my favorite!
