Sanibel - Saltwater Fishing Report

We are finally seeing a break in the winds, fishing Matlacha pass this week I have seen good snook action with plenty of fish up to 27 inches. The bigger snook have slowed a bit. Sea trout have still been good with some fish in the 3-4 lb range all taken on live shinners.

There are still plenty of schooling size trout and spanish mackeral on the grass in 3-6 ft. of water. Redfish have been slow down south with ones and twos the norm.

I have not been on the beaches but the tarpon should start showing.

There are a few openings for Tarpon to book a charter call
