Sebastian River Slam

Capt. Mike Peppe
April 15, 2008
Sebastian - Saltwater Fishing Report

Fishing on the 14th of April with my long time client George Vogel from Woburn Mass we went up the Sebastian river looking for Snook, Tarpon and LM Bass which is my little Sebastian river slam.It was a cool and blustery morning but we found the fish to be in a somewhat cooperative mood. We boated 20 Snook all between 12-23" on DOA shrimp lures,George caught 1 baby Trapon on the same baits as well as a couple of Bass while we caught 8 Mangrove snappers a couple of Jacks and a Bluegill on Yo- Zuri 3d minnows. The biggest surprise came from a 4# Flounder I caught on a 1/4 oz DOA Shrimp. All in all a good day of action on the river!
As always all fish were caught on artificial lures or flys !
