Snookin The Sebastian River

Capt. Mike Peppe
May 10, 2008
Sebastian - Saltwater Fishing Report

This past 2 days has seen the big Snook get moving up and down the St Sebastian river.I have been up there throwing fly and DOA Shrimp 1/4 Oz glow and have caught several fish including one that that took my 30# Boga grip past the calibration marks by a half an inch. This may be the heaviest Snook I have ever caught although not the longest at 42". I also caught a 18# 35 1/2" fish on Friday. In addition I caught sevaral other smaller fish and and lost some other big fish.
