Stuart - Saltwater Fishing Report

Weather has been unforgiving the last two weeks, but grouper and yellowfin tuna season is right around the corner. Weather has been our downfall the last couple of weeks fishing out of Stuart Florida. Out of 13 days scheduled for offshore fishing charters, we have only been able to run 4. In those 4 trips, we caught a sailfish out of a couple more bites, bonito, mahi-mahi to 30 lbs., snapper, amberjack, kingfish and more.
The biggest fish we caught and released the last couple trips were a pair 250 lb. bull sharks that our anglers fought for over 45 minutes a piece. Looking ahead at the weather, it looks like we will be back to fishing on Wednesday and hopefully right through the weekend. With each passing week, the mahi-mahi fishing should continue to improve both in quantity and quality. Peak season for the spring migration is mid to late march thru mid to late May. Cobia and permit fishing will also be in full swing and we look forward to targeting them as soon as the weather settles.

Yellowfin tuna and blue marlin season is right around the corner and we offer 1, 2 and 3 day trips on our sportfish boat targeting these species. Peak season is April through August and we have limited availability left for these awesome adventures.

May 1st marks the opening of grouper season, couple that with good to excellent snapper, cobia, permit and mahi-mahi fishing; Stuart Florida offshore charters become a premier destination for filling your freezer with meat.
