Dinner and a Show

Stuart - Saltwater Fishing Report

November 6:

We had excellent fishing today on our offshore charter with Gary and Mike. We started the day trolling and we ended up catching 4 mahis and a sailfish out of a couple of sailfish bites. We switched gears to kite fishing with live bait and we caught a single mahi some sharks and a 25lb Cobia. Decided to go bottom fishing and we caught some Sea Bass, Porgies, Triggerfish, and Snapper. After the bottom bite slowed we went back to trolling and we caught another 8 mahis up to 15lbs.

It was beautiful weather and great fishing I can't wait for tomorrow hope the bite holds up...

November 7:

Despite yesterdays action and the fact that all our guys wanted today was to fill the coolers with meat the fish just didn't cooperate. We found excellent trolling conditions including multiple current edges, weedlines, temp breaks, acres of flyers, cargo net and more. But we never had a mahi bite trolling today. We did catch a couple of small Blackfin and we kept 20 assorted bottom fish including snapper, jacks, sea bass, triggerfish!

Not what we had in mind, hope it improves for tomorrows double 1/2 day fishing charters!
