Stuart - Saltwater Fishing Report

Welcome aboard the REEL BUSY and to our Stuart Florida Fishing Report. The sailfish season was pitifully slow this winter and we're not accustom to that off the coast of Stuart Florida. we've had a better sailfish bite the last two years during the spring and summer months and this year looks to be more of the same.

Kingfish and dolphin have been providing most of the action and we've had a few double digit dolphin days. There's been allot of small dolphin sliding north with the currents so I expect we're going to have an excellent spring bite again this year. Most of the dolphin we've been catching are 5 to 8 pounds with a couple of 10 to 12 pound dolphin in the mix.

The dolphin fishing is good to excellent in March and we've started to see a few 15 to 18 pound dolphin already. The slammers of 15 to 25 pounds are more abundant in April / May and that's prime time for 35 to 55 pound Trophy dolphin off the coast of Stuart.

During the spring we'll be catching Dolphin, Blackfin Tuna, Wahoo and Sailfish on the edge of the gulfstream. Kingfish, Cobia, Amberjack and Grouper will be providing the action on the reefs and wrecks.

Now's the time to book your Stuart Florida Fishing Charters and 2 or 3 day Bahamas Fishing Adventures for the spring and summer months. Call Captain Wayne 772-341-6609 reelbusycharters.com or stuart-florida-fishing.com
