Fall Fishing Heating Up

Capt. Nick Cremasco
November 3, 2020
Stuart - Saltwater Fishing Report

Fall charter fishing is heating up out of Stuart Florida as seas surface temperatures start to drop. With each passing cold front from now through February fishing gets better and better. Whether chasing your first sailfish, or looking to take a bunch of meat home South Florida Winter fishing is for you.

Large numbers of Sailfish migrate from the North to the South and as the arrive in the waters of Stuart Florida the bottom contour causes them to bottle neck and gather into what is known as the start of Sailfish Alley. Stuart Florida is historically known a the Sailfish Capitol of the world. Along with the migrating bait and sailfish, mahi mahi, tuna, wahoo, cobia and grouper make their way south and as they move they're hungry!

Our fall fishing is already kicking into gear late in October with plenty of mahi mahi showing up. We have also caught some nice grouper and snapper bottom fishing and the occasional cobia. Wahoo and blackfin tuna have also ben welcomed aboard the DayMaker in the last couple of weeks! We have some terrible weather coming over the next 7-10 days with cold fronts and a potential tropical system next week so unfortunately we're canceling most of our trips in the next 10 days. But give us a call 772-405-0091 or email me through the website to book a trip in December or January.

Pics of some of the fish from recent deep sea fishing trips are below!
