Follow the Bait

Capt. Bob Bushholz
June 21, 2013
Stuart - Saltwater Fishing Report

Still banging on the structures north of my marina at Four Fish. The past few weeks we have been seeing an increase in glass minnow around pilings and bridges. Tripletail, flounder, sheepshead and all three inshore snappers have been decent on most days.

Early morning off the east bank look for trout and snook under the docks. DOA shrimp in rootbeer and glo are working great but you gotta work them slow. Bunker have returned off the wooden dock on the northwest side of the Jensen Beach Causeway. When the baits are around, it's a really great place to fish with jacks and snook chowing down.

Been staying away from the inlet the past few weeks with the water releases going on. Did run outside the other day around the sand-pile with nothing going on except for hammerhead sharks to 8 feet. Planning on a few cobia trips outside next week !!!
