Stuart - Saltwater Fishing Report

July 8:
Stuart Fl fishing charters are heating up for bottom fish and Red Snapper season is just around the corner. Today we fished with Tyler and his guest for a full day bottom fishing charter. We are charter fishing out of Stuart Fl and fishing out of the St. Lucie inlet. We had a great day catching over 50 snapper including, Lane Snapper, Vermillion Snapper and Genuine Red Snapper. On top of the snapper we caught some nice sized Trigger fish and Sea bass. We also caught 6 Grouper and were able to keep 4. Along with the grouper catch we also managed a box of Amberjack and Almaco Jacks to 30lbs. Give us a call to book your Stuart Fl fishing charter, bottom fishing, tuna fishing or fishing for Sailfish we got it all in Stuart Fl.

July 9:
Today we fished with the regulars for Skips birthday and we had another great day of bottom fishing Stuart Fl. We caught snapper up to 25lbs, Grouper to 20lbs, triggerfish, sea bass, Amberjack, Almaco jacks and rudderfish. We had to cut the day short by an hour because of weather but we had a great day and a cart full of fish from our bottom fishing charter. No reason to ruin a great day by getting greedy.

July 10:
Today we fished with Chad and his guest for a tuna fishing charter on the 61' Jim Smith. We had good fishing catching a couple of Skipjack Tuna to 20lbs, we also caught 8 Blackfin tuna to 22lbs and 6 Yellowfin tuna with the 3 biggest in the 50-60lb range. Check out our Facebook page at DayMaker charters to see some cool video.
July 12:
Today we had a Tuna fishing charter with Dave and his guest on the 61' Jim Smith we have available for charter fishing. We had an epic day of Tuna fishing action. We caught 23 Blackfin Tuna to 22lbs and 6 Yellowfin tuna to 50lbs. We also missed a white marlin and caught a single Skipjack tuna that weighed 20lbs. We kept our limit of 18 pelagics and let the rest go to grow up. Excellent fishing on a tuna fishing charter.

July 14:
Today we ran a tuna fishing charter on the 39' Yellowfin we have available. We had great action but tough luck today. We managed to box 5 tuna to 117lbs today but we had many many more opportunities. The fish gods were not with us today. We had 9 tuna pulling drag that just flat out pulled off. We had 4 other bites that never pulled drag and we broke a leader and a main line on a fish. Tough day but still a ton of meat to go around when you catch a 100 plus pounder and 4 other tuna too!
