Last Chance to Keep Snook

Capt. Bob Bushholz
May 13, 2014
Stuart - Saltwater Fishing Report

We are getting into our summer pattern here in Stuart with snook and big jacks in the inlet and along the beaches. Also look for an increase in tarpon in the crossroads area. Only a few more weeks left in the snook season. June thru August - it's catch and release during their spawning period.

Still seeing some black drum, sheepshead, snapper and a few tripletail on structures along the Indian River. This is the time of year when the flounder bite normally picks up.

Lots of ladyfish and a few bonefish on the sailfish flats. North of the Jensen Causeway, look for trout in 3-4 feet after 9am.
