Stuart - Saltwater Fishing Report

March 15:
We fished an afternoon 1/2 day with Rob and his buddy. We had good fishing catching 3 out of 4 mahis on the troll. When the trolling bite slowed down I switched gears to bottom fishing. We caught mangrove, lane and genuine red snapper, grouper, sea bass and a cobia. All in all a great Stuart Fl fishing charter!

March 16:
This morning we fished with repeat customer Joe and his grandson Luke. We had a great morning of fishing. We caught a dozen snapper to 9lbs, 3-4 Mahis, a nice sized amberjack and a tasty almaco jack.
Rods bent, good fishing and happy customers.

March 18:
Today we fished a 3/4 day with Pete and his grandkids. Trolling for dolphin continues to be non-existent. We caught snapper, sea bass and amberjack. We also found a couple of 40lb Cobia on a turtle on the way home but unfortunately the fish came off.

March 19:
Tough afternoon 1/2 day with Rick. We caught a handful of amberjack and some snapper, lost a monster Cobia at the end of the day. Bummer!

March 20:
Today we fished a 3/4 day with Joe his son Jason and Jason's son Hunter. We started the day trolling for dolphin and the bite was very slow. Hunter ended up catching a single mahi about 8lbs. I switched gears to bottom fishing and we caught Sea Bass, Genuine Red Snapper, Lane Snapper, Vermillion Snapper, Grouper and Amberjack. A great day of fishing with 3 generations - very cool!

Today we fished a 1/2 day fishing charter with Joe and his guest. We caught 6 Amberjack to 30lbs, some sea bass and lane snapper. We only had 1 bite trolling and it was a bonito. Cold water had moved in. Hope it doesn't stay long...
