Stuart - Saltwater Fishing Report

I've been spending the majority of my trips lately in the St. Lucie River fishing docks and a few holes. Under the docks, mostly snook, black drum, sheepshead and mangrove snapper on live bait, gulp and DOA shrimp. Drifting across drop-offs with trollrites and Joe's Jigs a mixed bag of mackerel, ladyfish, sheepshead, ribbonfish and scattered pompano.

The crossroads area is holding ladyfish, bonefish, sheepshead and again a few pompano. This pompano season has been the pits.

Around the area bridges, expect to see some croaker, black drum, snook and mangrove snapper. Seems the sheepshead are really spread out right now. Have not trout fished lately, but heard mixed reviews from a few guides. Getting ready to start my tripletail thing again.
