Capt. Nick Cremasco
June 3, 2015
Stuart - Saltwater Fishing Report

May 21:

Had decent action today catching 5 out of 6 Mahis with the biggest tipping the scales at 33lbs.

We also caught 8 genuine reds, 20 plus sea bass, triggerfish, a plethora of Lesser amberjack. Gag Grouper to 16lbs and a couple of AJs to 45lbs.

It was a fun filled day with some good rod bending and some good fish for the grill and fryer. Looking forward to tmrw!

May 22:

Got Chris, Troy, Diane, Jennifer, and Caleb for a scheduled full day charter today. The fishing and conditions rebounded from yesterday's west wind and strong North current.
Flat calm and a light NE wind this morning!

We ended up catching Plenty of sea bass, some rudder fish, amberjack, red grouper, dolphin, sailfish and cobia up to stud status

May 23:

Today we picked David and his family up in Ft Pierce. We caught a handful of small mahis trolling and saw a sailfish that didn't bite. We made some drops on the bottom and caught a couple of keeper sized mutton snapper, porgies and Sea bass. We had a couple of big fish bites that we broke off. We were chased in early by bad weather offshore. Lightning and water spouts are not our friends!

May 25:

Thanks to all of our Veterans and current Military who sacrfice themselves each and every day for our freedom and safety. Wishing everyone and their families a safe and peaceful holiday weekend.

We were weathered out yesterday and today!

May 26:

Today we had a split charter with Helena her husband John, and Kim and his son Patrick. Weather was a little choppier than forecasted but we gave it a shot. Started the day kite fishing and only managed a few Kingfish bites which we missed. Switched gears to trolling when the rain rolled in but never had a bite trolling despite great water quality and plenty of grass to fish around. Found a couple spots inshore out of the hard North current and we managed a limit of Amberjack, some rudder fish and 1 out of 4 or 5 Grouper bites.
