Stuart - Saltwater Fishing Report
March 6th
Today we fished our second day with Jerry and the gang from Tennessee. We knew leaving the dock that the fishing would not be nearly as good as it was the day before. The transition in weather with a cold front pushing through was going to throw the fishing for a loop. We ended up trolling for about an hour and a half and never had a bite. The wind really picked up out of the West and the rain was threatening. We decided to run inshore and look for some Cobia. We were able to hook 11 Cobia in a couple hours but the Bull Sharks were horrible. We caught 2 of the 11 fish we hooked. One of the fish was a short and one weighed just under 50lbs. Looking forward to Jensen Beach fishing charters getting back to normal tomorrow. Our last day of charter fishing with these guys is tomorrow and we all hope to go out with a bang.

Our deep sea fishing charter was with Jerry, Ron, Eric, Gary and Curt from Tennessee. We started the day catching a little live bait. Today was our 3rd day of fishing with these guys and I wanted to do some kite fishing with them and show them a different technique and the versatility of our charter fishing operation. After catching bait we started kite fishing for sailfish and dolphin on an edge in 85ft of water. Before we got our 3rd bait in the water we had our first sailfish on of the day and released it quickly. We kite fished for sailfish and dolphin for the majority of the morning. We released 3 out of 6 sailfish and boxed 3 dolphin and released some bonito. As the condition we were fishing deteriorated we decided to switch gears and troll to cover some ground. It proved to be a good decision. We ended up catching another sail out of two and caught 10 more dolphin that we kept. Final tally was 4-8 sailfish releases and 13 mahi's in the box. A great Treasure Coast fishing charter.
March 9th
Today our Jensen Beach fishing charter was with Regulars Don, Bob, Brandon and Larry. Fishing was a little slower today. We started the day catching a couple dolphin out of 4 bites and releasing a sail while trolling for dolphin and sailfish. We spent a better part of the morning fishing on an edge in 165ft that proved to be most productive. When the trolling bite slowed we ran inshore and looked for some Cobia. We found some Manta Rays but they were holding no fish. The ground swell that was forecast for the weekend had already started to arrive making the bottom very dirty so we had no bites in any of the other sports we tried. We ran back offshore and trolled for the last couple hours catching a total of 7 mahis and a sail.

Well with the arrival of a big ground swell from a low pressure system off the Carolinas Stuart FL fishing charters will be sitting at the dock the next couple of days. Unfortunately with the size of the swell and our surrounding inlets we will not be able to get out to fish our Deep sea fishing charters for the next 3-4 days.
Don't forget that the opening of Grouper season is right around the corner. Grouper season opens May 1st. We only have 7 days left available in the month of May so time is limited to get in on some great Grouper fishing opening month.

Much as we had expected the weather has not allowed us to get out for some great charter fishing this week. But we are looking forward to some great fishing to come. April, May and June are prime months for dolphin fishing charters. So book your Spring time fishing charter now. DAYS ARE VERY LIMITED SO GIVE US A CALL. (772) 405-0091
