Stuart - Saltwater Fishing Report

Hello Fish Fans, the spring bite is on and we're catching sailfish dolphin tuna wahoo and kingfish. The winds been blowing 30-40 mph out of the east northeast all week so no fishing this week til Friday. Should be an excellent dolphin bite along the coast next week.

Most of the Trophy Bull Dolphin that we catch are off the coast of Stuart Florida will be caught over the next six weeks. The dolphin we're catching right now are 7-10 pounds but 15-25 pound are most abundant in May.

The sailfish bites been good most days and will get better and better over the next couple of months. The last several years the winter bites been hit and miss but summer rolls in with a red hot sailfish bite. You don't have to get tossed around in the winter seas to catch sailfish, the summer sailfish bite is excellent.

Black fin tuna of 10-25 pounds are scattered about the edge of the gulf stream this time of year and so are the wahoo.

Kingfish and bonita have been plentiful around the reefs and wrecks providing plenty of action for those just looking to bend the rods.

Summertime is just around the corner so now's the time to book your yellowfin tuna trip with Captain Wayne. June and July usually has the best sea conditions for a 75 mile ride and there's plenty of yellowfins to catch and in May and August as well.
