Sailfish, Tuna and Dolphin

Capt. Wayne Brodeur
August 14, 2015
Stuart - Saltwater Fishing Report

The summer sailfish bite off the coast of Stuart Florida has been excellent for several weeks now and they continue to be eager to play the game. On most days we're getting 3 to 5 opportunities and catching 2 or 3 sailfish.

We're still catching allot of football size Blackfin Tuna on a ridge about 10 miles off the coast of Stuart. Most of the tunas are only 5 or 6 pounds but there's a few 8 to 10 pound tunas in the mix.

The dolphin fishing's been hit and miss close to the coast but we've been catching allot of Dolphin 30 miles southeast of the St' Lucie Inlet on the east side of the gulfstream. The abundance of westerly winds in June and July has the weeds, birds and debris stacked up on the eastern edge.

Catch you later, Capt. Wayne Brodeur,772-341-6609 Reel Busy Charters, Stuart Florida
