Stuart - Saltwater Fishing Report

Hello Fish Fans, Welcome aboard the REEL BUSY. The wind and seas have finally settled down and we've been catching dolphin, tuna, sailfish, kingfish, wahoo and a blue marlin.
The dolphin bite was on and off and constantly changing wind directions kept the weed lines busted up and scattered about. The weed lines are forming up and the slammer dolphin are moving in. The dolphin bites been red hot on the Bahamas side and the sea conditions are looking good for our Bahamas Fishing Adventures.
The sailfish bite was on the slow side again this winter but they're showing up now and it looks like another year with a super summer sailfish bite. Calmer seas and warmer waters create a much more aggressive sailfish bite as they fly into the spread and tear it up. Last year they fired up in June, July was red hot and they continued to hang around through September.

The tuna bites been on and off in the Stuart Florida waters but it's going off north of the Bahama Bank. Most of the black fin tunas off the coast of Stuart are 5 to 10 pounds with a few pushing 20 pounds. Off the Bahama Bank the black fins are 15 to 25 pounds and yellow fin tuna from 45 to 75 pounds are tearing it up.
The reefs and wrecks off the coast of Stuart are yielding kingfish and cobia and will for the next couple of months. We spend most of our days targeting dolphin, tuna and sailfish but the reefs and wrecks will keep the rods bent with kingfish, cobia, bonito and amberjack.

The next couple of months is prime time for an east side tuna trip catching dolphin, tuna and blue marlin. Earlier this week on an east side tuna trip we caught tuna, wahoo, dolphin and a blue marlin, you gotta love it. On the 2 and 3 day Bahamas fishing adventures we're catching dolphin, tuna, wahoo, marlin, mutton and yellowtail snapper and grouper.
We're catching fish and you can too. Call Capt. Wayne and get hooked up with Reel Busy Charters. 772-341-6609 or www.reelbusycharters.com
