Good Stuart Sailfishing, plus Mahi, Wahoo and bttm fish

Capt. Nick Cremasco
February 2, 2011
Stuart - Saltwater Fishing Report

For the past week Stuart Fl fishing has been strong aboard the DayMaker. We have been averaging 10 Sailfish bites on full day trips with a by-catch of Dolphin up to 25lbs. Bottom fishing has been excellent with lots of 6-15lb Genuine Snappers and plenty of rod bending Grouper and Amberjacks.

Manta Rays have made an arrival and will be followed with a big influx of Cobia so look forward to some great sight fishing to come.

Wahoo fishing at the corner remains strong we fished there Sunday and had 10 bites and caught 6. We also caught some nice Yellow Eyes up to 18lbs.

Stuart Fishing Forecast:

Great Sailfish to continue throught the next four weeks. Cobia fishing is getting ready to go off and will last typically into early March.

Some of the best Wahoo fishing we have ever seen has been as late as the 3rd week in March so you can count on some great fishing in the future.
