Stuart - Saltwater Fishing Report

Hello Fish Fans, The summer sailfish bite was red hot again this year surpassing the winter sailfish migration again for the third year in a row. Kingfish and false albacore were abundant providing plenty of action in-between the sailfish bites.

The dolphin bite was a bit more hit and miss this summer but found a good dolphin bite in the deeper waters of the gulfstream on most days. The blackfin tuna showed up early this year and tapered off early as well. We usually have a good blackfin tune bite throughout the summer months but this year it shut down in June.

Although we had several weather cancellations for our Yellowfin Tuna trips north of the Bahama Bank the we had an excellent bite when we got to go.

Fall is moving in and that's an excellent time of year to get hooked up with a Stuart Florida charter boat. Sailfish, dolphin, tuna, wahoo and kingfish are all in play.
The peanut dolphin that meandered north with the Gulfstream currents during the summer months are beginning to move back down the coast of Florida and are now heavy lifters and gaffers.
The sailfish bite has been good to excellent in the fall the last few years and I expect more of the same this year. We not catching 5 to 7 right now like we did during the summer months but catching 2 or 3 sailfish and a few dolphin for dinner makes for a great day on the water.

Now's the time to get hooked up with Reel Busy Charters and book those October/November Fishing trips. Take your pick from our 34' center console or 50' luxury sportfishing yacht and Let's Go Catch'em. Call or text Captain Wayne today 772-341-6609
