Stuart - Saltwater Fishing Report

Hello Fish Fans, Sailfish and Dolphin have been providing the action off the coast of Stuart Florida with tunas, wahoo and kingfish in the mix.
The summer sailfish bite is good to excellent in June and July and they showed up in numbers last week. Three to five sailfish releases is attainable on most days this time of year and the calmer seas of summer make it more enjoyable for all.

The dolphin fishing's been good on most days as the weed lines have finally started coming together. The changing winds and currents have scattered about the weed lines and dolphin for the last couple of weeks so it"s nice to see them coming together. Most of the dolphin right now are school size fish but there's a few in the mix of 15 to 25 pounds.

The larger blackfin tuna of 20 to 30 pounds are less abundant as we move into the summer months but there's plenty of 6 to 8 pound blackfins schooling up on a ridge 10 miles off the beach. We'll be targeting sailfish, dolphin, tuna and wahoo for most of the summer months but kingfish, amberjack and bonito are abundant on the reefs and wrecks off the coast of Stuart.

The Bahamas is opening up on July 1st and we'll be targeting Yellowfin Tuna, Blue Marlin and more on our Bahamas fishing Adventures.
