Stuart - Saltwater Fishing Report

August 1:
Today we ran our Stuart fishing charter to the tuna grounds and had decent fishing till about 10:30. We caught 6 out of 10 yellowfin tuna bites to 40 lbs. and a couple of blackfin tuna and skipjack tuna.
Looking forward to getting back tomorrow.
August 2:
Today we were headed back in search of Yellowfin Tuna and got 51 miles out before we decided that the trip was not for us. We watched before our eyes as the atmosphere just blew up with storms all around us and to the East and South over 100 miles. We returned to the marina to live to fight another day. The radar was terrible all day so we made a great decision and the Storms have now re developed back into Tropical Storm Dorian.
August 3:
Tropical Depression Dorian has made the weather a little to iffy for our customers to have to drive from Lakeland. We will reschedule for another date.

August 4:
Today we fished with Phillip, Cole and their guest for Cole's 30th Birthday. We enjoyed amazing weather and good fishing. We had good action on most of the packs of birds that we fished. We caught 6 out of 10 Yellowfin bites that we had and also caught 9 Blackfin tuna and 3 Skipjack tuna.
We kept 6 of the blackfin tuna from 7-12lbs and released the rest. We released all the skipjack Tuna with 1 about 30lbs. We also kept 6 Yellowfin, with 1 fish around 30 lbs. and the rest were between 52 and 75 lbs.

A great day had by all.
