Tampa Bay Fishing Report
We finally had a major cold front that lasted more than a day and it's exactly what we needed to fire off the trout and the sheepshead. It has been very windy the past three days mixed in with rain, so I was not out fishing, but I did fish before the front and did pretty well. I hit a couple trout spots and checked the sheepies out, and both areas were good.

I plan on going out near the end of the week so stay tuned to see how the bite is. If you're looking for cobia, try fishing the flats and look for big rays; just have a little bigger set up rigged and ready because some of these fish are not small. They can range from 12 lbs to 40 lbs; you never know what's cruising the flats. I like tossing a soft-bodied bait like Zman PaddlerZ or JerkZ or 1 oz Bucktail jig. These two baits are candy for cobia.

Spring fishing is not far off and that means Spring Break.
If you're heading to Clearwater, St. Petersburg or Tampa Bay for your Spring Break vacation, look me up for a fun family fishing trip.
