Coldest Week of the Year

Capt. Fred Everson
January 21, 2009
Tampa Bay - Saltwater Fishing Report

Water temperature has dropped more than 10 degrees in the last five days. However, the wind is going to lay down tomorrow, but then again, the air temp will be in the high 30s at daybreak.
If this pushes the water temp down into the mid 50s, expect to see some fish die off.\

The good news is that the weather will return to form by the weekend. Until then, it's a good idea to do some maintenance -- boat, trailer or tackle.

Tampa Bay Fishing Forecast:

It's not gonna be pretty for the next few days. Time to give the boat a little TLC

More Fishing Reports:

Sight fishing for a variety of species on Tampa Bay's Soutshore. Two anglers fish primarily with aritficials (occasionally we throw live shrimp and cut bait -- no sardines).
