Tampa Bay - Saltwater Fishing Report

Tampa Bay Fishing Report
Well, Halloween is not far off, and people are going to the store to get their costumes and candy for the little one's, but not me, I've been fishing a lot these past few weeks.

Lots of charters with happy anglers, because the Snook bite has been outstanding the past weeks and it's only going to get better. We're supposed to get a cold front on Wednesday and it's gonna fire up the fishing for sure. The bait might leave the the flats, but we'll just have to see if it heads to the bridges once we get this cold front.

Let's talk redfish for a few; again, it's been very good as well and again, once this cold front hits us, it's gonna turn on the redfish bite.

Fall is a great time to target big snook and lots of redfish. Cooler temps lower the water temps which in turn gets the fish moving and feeding more.

Next month in November is also a great time to fish the flats for Snook and reds; the water temps are usually in the lower 80's or upper 70's which is perfect for inshore fishing.

If you're heading to the Tampa Bay area or clearwater - St Petersburg area, give me a shout
and we'll get you on the Triton and bend some rods.
Thanks for stopping by!
