Great fishing on the flats of Tampa Bay

Capt. Brandon Henley
September 17, 2015
Tampa Bay - Saltwater Fishing Report

We had a little change in the weather, and it felt great. The fishing has definitely improved. The redfish bite has been on fire, but I took the opportunity to focus on tarpon this week. If you know where to look the Tampa Bay area is home to resident tarpon and they are willing to play especially on calm mornings. They eat flies readily as well as soft plastics and plugs. I'm out every day next week with clients from Canada so I will have a report to follow. Please visit www.tampaflatsfishingcharter.com for more information or give me a call at 305-340-9863.
