Great Fishing on Tampa Bay

Capt. Woody Gore
June 12, 2009
Tampa Bay - Saltwater Fishing Report

Everything is eating and we're catching plenty of fish. The snookClick to Enlarge Photo and trout bite been exceptional and should continue through the summer. The big mackerel are filling in the gaps along with blue fish, really big lady fish and a flounder or two in the mix. You also might get the opportunity to hook into a nice cobia; they're on the flats with big rays. Mangrove snapper are really strong around any structure and especially bridges and artificial reefs.

Pilchards are on any grass flat, just chum them up and throwClick to Enlarge Photo your net.
