Tampa Bay - Saltwater Fishing Report

It is blowing 25knots out of the Northwest today with temps in the 40's. Hopefully this is winters last gasp. Before this blow things where really picking up on the flats around lower Tampa Bay.

Snook are showing up in all there usual haunts.

I am happy to report seeing a lot of big fish over the slot from thirty four to thirty eight inches.

And bunches of fish from twenty two inches to twenty nine inches.

These fish are hungry and really show there appreciation for a nice fat scaled sardine.

Redfish are mixed in with the snook. Reds from twenty inches to well over the slot are making a good showing.

With the passing of the full moon the speckled trout bite has really turned on. A lot of fish in the slot from sixteen inches to nineteen inches.

The best trout of the week was a beautiful twenty seven inch six pound brute. It won't take long after this front passes for it to be game on again.
Thank You & Good Fishing!
