Middle Tampa Bay Fishing Report Feb. 6th

Capt. Mark Magni
February 6, 2014
Tampa Bay - Saltwater Fishing Report

This weeks fishing with kids onboard it was all about keeping them catching fish. Sheepshead, Silver Trout, Black Sea Bass with a few Sharks keep the kids excited and smiles on there faces.

With warmer days and water temperature creeping up should turn the Trout and Red Fish bite on. On the grass flats look for the pot holes to hold Trout some of the same flats will hold Red Fish. Live Shrimp on a small jig head or rig the jig head with either a DOA CAL Shad tail or the Mirrolure Lil John. Keep it on the bottom and jig slowly.

On windy days try fishing the cannels. Throwing under the docks this time of year can result in some impressing catches.
