Ready For Some More Weather Change Tampa Bay!

Capt. TJ Stewart
August 21, 2016
Tampa Bay - Saltwater Fishing Report

Tampa Bay is scorching. August has been hotter and wetter this year than years in the past, but the hot and soggy weather hasn't seemed to slow the fishing down. Bait is aplenty. It is all over the flats and around bridges. Having plenty of bait, definitely makes fishing easier. Fishing should remain good and bait should remain in the area the rest of summer through fall.
Although the snook, trout, and snapper bite has been great, the reddish bite has been a bit tough. We have been catching a few, but it has been hit or miss. I'm hoping that we will see some more big fish show up in the area. Please visit www.castawaychartersinc.com and book your trip today.
