Good Redfish & Snook Action - Capt. Woody Gore

Capt. Woody Gore
October 7, 2009
Tampa Bay - Saltwater Fishing Report

Redfish action was booming in September and should continue into November. This month will offer good catches around the oyster bars and mangroves. We're catching plenty of slot sized reds with our big fish tipping the measuring stick at 31 inches.

The snook seem to be cooperating lately. Check your tides and fish moving water with live green backs and you should have good success. www.captainwoodygore.com

Tampa Bay Fishing Forecast:

Thought for sure we'd start getting cooler weather but it seems like we'll have to wait. The first part of the month the water temps dipped into low 80's and it seemed to ignite the bite. November should be very productive.

Target Species:

Snook, Redfish, Trout, Tarpon, Grouper, Flounder, Snapper, Bluefish, Mackerel, Kingfish
