Tampa Bay Fishing Report 4/19/16

Capt. Mark Magni
April 19, 2016
Tampa Bay - Saltwater Fishing Report

Reel Till U Feel Charters, Tampa Bay Fishing Report
Mother Nature keeps pushing fronts through the area bring a lot of windy days to deal with. On days you don't have to jeopardize safety the bite has been great.
The Redfish have been eating cut Ladyfish and Mullet along with live Shrimp on a jig head on the high water. Cast it out and let it sit, be patience. The Snook are eating White bait on the income tide. Having a well full to chum the area has help a lot. Popping corks with a Live or artificial shrimp have brought quite a few nice size Trout in the boat.
Ten Minute Jacks (take 10 minutes to get in the boat) which some have been huge are chasing bait all over the flats. Not a Game Fish but a lot of fun on light tackle.
Mangrove Snapper bite has been on the slower side which should only get better as the water heats up. You can't catch a fish unless you have a line in the water so get out and enjoy the weather and have some fun. Looking to book an Inshore Fishing Charter on Tampa Bay give me a call.
