It's Tarpon Time!

Capt. Brandon Henley
May 16, 2016
Tampa Bay - Saltwater Fishing Report

Tarpon are on the brain and the fishing is off the hook! This is the time of year I focus almost exclusively on the silver king. I don't do the crowd thing at Bean point or Egmont, I prefer to sight fish for them on the beaches. Sometimes I will hit area bridges later in the day or if clouds or a seabreeze put a damper on the beach bite. There is nothing like seeing a 100 lb fish eat a fly or an artificial in 4 ft of crystal clear water. To me it's the coolest thing in fishing. If you are interested in doing some Tampa tarpon fishing please visit my website http://tampaflatsfishingcharter.com/tampa-fly-fishing-charters/ or give me a call at 305-340-9863. It's going to be a great season, Captain Brandon Henley
