It's Tarpon Time In Tampa Bay

Capt. Brandon Henley
April 24, 2017
Tampa Bay - Saltwater Fishing Report

My favorite time of the year is finally here. Tarpon are here in numbers inside Tampa Bay and very soon the migratory fish will be cruising the beaches. We have been doing very well fly fishing for tarpon lately with daily hookups. If you are interested in fly fishing for tarpon visit
http://tampaflatsfishingcharter.com/tampa-fly-fishing-charters/ for details. One word on tarpon fishing this season please please please show a little common sense and courtesy. Don't chase fish down the beach with your trolling motor. Tarpon will not eat going away from you anyhow. By chasing them down all you are doing is screwing it up for the next guy.

The snook and redfish bite is good as well and the snook are starting to eat top water plugs. There have been a lot of beautiful fish being caught and a ton of smaller fish too. We have been having a blast with some big trout on top water plugs as well. If you are interested in Tampa Fishing Charters visit www.tampaflatsfishingcharter.com or call me at 305-340-9863.
