Tarpon and Trout Morning Fishing

Trevor Sok
June 16, 2010
Tarpon Springs - Saltwater Fishing Report

The Tarpon are rolling just off the beach at Howard Park and in the 4-5ft water the Trout seem to be hitting everything you throw at them. The Tarpon are rolling in pods and cruising along the 4-5ft water areas as well and are taking large pin fish or larger plugs. These fish seem to be there rather early on and become less visible as the day gets hotter.

Tarpon Springs Fishing Forecast:

The Tarpon should be here for a while look for them rolling on the surface. The Trout should also be in this pattern for the forseeable future. Early morning and late afternoon will be your best bets with this heat.

Target Species:

Tarpon and Trout
