Ten Thousand Islands - Saltwater Fishing Report

Well the weather has held out quite well so far, even though the temps are a little higher than average.
Fishing has been pretty good, and with the good weather it gives you lots of options. Snook fishing has been really good. Some real big snook are showing up in the shallows, and a good set of eyes and a good cast can get the job done. Big black snook have been floating around catching you off gaurd if your not ready.
There are a few tarpon still, laying up soaking up the heat. Smaller tarpon have been quite cooperative making a presence on every trip. Most fish are small ranging from 5-20 lbs.
Redfish are also starting to grow in numbers!
On the calmer days, when I can venture off the beaches you can find schools of bonito and mackeral willing to take every cast and pull some serious drag. As the weather starts to chill, hordes of bluefish will be moving in.
If you would like your shot at great fishing, book a trip and sample some of the finest flyfishing Florida has to offer.
