Titusville - Saltwater Fishing Report

This week's report on the upper Indian River and Mosquito Lagoon
from Spotted Tail, updated 3/2
Now booking TARPON trips for May and June for the SW Florida coast!
I didn't file a report last week. I had a no-show that I used for scouting and then a skunking a couple days later. There were plenty of fish around, but finding a cooperative individual proved to be challenging. Preparing for and going to the Shallow Water Expo in Atlanta took up all my time over the weekend.
This week, yesterday was the first day I fished. I had the Thorson family from Minnesota out for a half day on the Indian River. Everybody caught redfish. Jim and Loretta got theirs on flies and son Daniel got his on a jerk worm. Thanks to the Redfish Tournament tomorrow it is a zoo out there with anglers from all over pre-fishing. Avoid fishing tomorrow if you possibly can- 125 boats are supposed to compete.
Also this week, I've had a number of magazine article come out in Sport Fishing, Saltwater Fly Fishing, and Camping Life magazines.
I should have a better report next week. I have eight straight days of fishing under way now.
Fishing is great and I love my work!
