Here we go!!

Chattahoochee River - Freshwater Fishing Report

Here we go!

August is here and with it brings the biggest, baddest trophy striper bite of the year on the river. Can you feel the excitement?

It has started off with a bang, and already many customers have caught their personal best fish. There is nothing like a catching a big river striper. Seriously, there have been times over the past week when I thought, "this fish is going to take everything we got, customer and all." It is really cool to fight one of these true river monsters and release them back into the cold water, and watch them swim away. That is river fishing at the very best.

Give us a call if you want to tangle with one of these mad Morones Saxatilis. If your official name was Morone, you'd be mad too!

His boat is a Ranger 2300 Bay Series powered by a 225 Yamaha 4-stroke motor. It is spacious and can fish up to 6 people! During the hot summer months he heads to the Chattahoochee River to pursue monster Striped bass. He fishes from a custom jet boat, built exclusively for fishing the river.
