Fast and Furious Spinner Sharks
The time of year is here, and now.. These super muscular, Black Tipped missiles have migrated up the Florida Coast into Georgia waters to spawn and the only other thing they do best, EAT. This annual migration has made Georgia a fishing destination for sport fishing for Sharks with light tackle.
This type of Shark Fishing is NOT a boring sport and most anglers compare it to Tarpon fishing as nearly identical. You simply must be targeting the proper species for things to get interesting very quickly. In fact, when you see the surface strike (that's right, the surface strike) of a 100 pound Black Tip Spinner Shark, your heart will skip a beat and you'll get the "jitters" ready to set the hook!
Year after year I watch novice and avid anglers battle with the black missiles using light tackle and spinning gear. It makes for a most interesting fishing charter, no doubt about it. What a great way to spend a day of fun on the water with your family or friends catching aerobatic 100 pound fish that are often cooperative and willing to eat most any live bait, at any given time.
If this sounds like fun to you, give us a call anytime you're headed to the Georgia Coast. We'll HOOK YOU UP!
Fish on.. Rock on!
