Jekyll Island - Saltwater Fishing Report

BULL REDS ON THE PROWL IN COASTAL GEORGIA | GEORGIASPORTFISHING.COM
Coastal Georgia, St. Simons Island and Jekyll Island - Giant Georgia Bull Redfish have headed in to the bays and sounds from offshore and are taking over the various sandbars and channels around St. Simons Island and Jekyll Island! Spring Bullreds on average weigh 35-55 lbs and fight from beginning to end. Landing one of these giants is a memory that you won't forget and will tell all of your friends and family members about! Reds of this caliber are a trophy fish for sure!

You can imagine fishing lines in the water, waiting on the bite, having great conversation when all of a sudden, the rod doubles over and the drag begins to scream off the reel with massive head shakes from a Georgia Monster Redfish! You pick up the rod and begin to fight and feel the raw power from this trophy worthy Bullred. The fight last anywhere from 5-15 minutes of pure excitement, especially when you see the powerful shows of strength at the top of the water as the fish tries to get away! Once landed, a beautiful Georgia Bullred makes a stunning picture that you will never forget as long as you live! After the picture, you get to release your fish so that someone may also have a shot at landing the same trophy fish that you overcame. Over all, Bullreds that inhabit the waters around St. Simons and Jekyll Island are one of the toughest and most picture worthy fish that swim in these waters!
