Line side fishing is Good. The bite is starting to slow down.. The full moon phase we had this week really slowed the bite down on Lake Allatoona. The fish are on the move and can be in one place one day and then two miles away the next day. Things should return to normal by next week. The live bait bite has also slowed down. Threadfin shad are still and will be the best bait for you live bait guys, and will remain so until the end of Nov. Shiners will also work, but the key to these two baits is to change them out every five minutes. Freshly netted bait is best, and can be easily caught under a Hydro Glow almost any where on the lake right now.... On most of my trips I don't have to throw the net more then twice to have 150 baits.... Down-lines are working best if you live bait fishing, fish these baits between 18-30 deep out over the river channel in eyesite of the dam for best results.... Trolling is going to be our best over all bite in the up coming weeks. Pull your U-rigs 100-180 behind the boat at speeds of 2.4 to 3.3 miles and hour. Play with your distance and speed until you see what is working best.... I still have a few days open this month. If you would like to book a trip give me a call at 770 827-6282...
