Line side fishing is Awesome !!! The bite right now is great .. And the best part of it is the big fish are finally starting to show up. This past week my clients have hook some really nice fish. We had one earlier this week pull off 400 feet of line before breaking off. November is probably the best month of the year to fish Allatoona in my opinion. The numbers are off the chart and then you throw in the chance to catch a 20 - 40 lb striper. I don't think fishing could get any better.

Mid-lake is still the best bite on the lake. Kellogg's to Bartow Carver is holding a ton of fish right now. The bigger Stripers are roaming up in the water colum and can be caught on almost any flat or main lake point. On larger gizzard shad and trout fished on Free-lines and Planner Boards. The Hybrids bite is still strong. And these fish are still holding right on the edge of the river and creek channels. Thread-fin shad and Medium size shiners fish on down-lines at 24-34 feet deep is working best. These schools are huge and are willing to eat almost anything right now. If live bait isn't your thing. Then be sure to carry a 1 oz white Flex-it spoon with you......

Top-water. We are finally starting to see a little top water action on the north-end of the lake. It has been hit or miss. But there are some really good schools coming up right before dark between Little River and Fields Landing... A white Roster-tail is had to beat on these schooling line-sides....We still have a couple of days open next week. Give me a call at 770 827-6282 for Availability....
