Lake Allatoona Fishing Guides Report For Dec. ( Week 1 )

Capt. Robert Eidson
December 5, 2013
Lake Allatoona - Freshwater Fishing Report

Line sides Fishing is Fair The bite this week is a carbon copy of last weeks change nothing. The north end of the lake is still stain and not much really happening up there. The fish that are up north are moving south looking for clearer water. I fished with my wife Tina 0n 12/4/13 and we found plenty of fish bunch up mid lake to the dam.

A good starting point this weekend would be mid lake to Red Top. Mud and stain lines are one of my favorite places to start my day. Free lines and Planner boards early. Down lines after the sun comes up.

The water temps are getting cold. Stripers and Hybrids love this kind of weather. So don't let the cold keep you from hitting the lake. If getting out early and netting bait isn't your thing. Striper Soup has plenty of fresh shad of all sizes along with small trout. And the Dugout has plenty of trout both small and large. And if you're heading to Carters this weekend Buddy at Bart Bait and Tackle will have plenty of fresh trout on hand....

The seagulls are starting to show up and will make finding the fish a little easier for us over the upcoming holiday break. Remember Allatoona has very few loons. If you see birds diving on Allatoona this normally means there are line sides near by..... We have some days open next week. Please give us a call at 770 827-6282 if you would like to book a trip.

Troller's keep pulling your Mack farr u- rigs 60 -120 feet behind the boat at speeds between 2.4 - 3.1 miles and hour.......
