Lake Allatoona - Freshwater Fishing Report

This Lake Allatoona fishing guides report for striper and hybrid has been brought to you exclusively by Robert Eidson of First Bite Guide Service, 770 827-6282. www.firstbiteguideservice.com Lake Allatoona, Georgia email: [email protected].

Line side fishing is Fair. !!. The rain we have had the last two weeks has stain the lake from Little River to the dam. The north end of the lake is stain to muddy, but is still holding a Ton of fish mostly white bass and small Hybrids. These fish will not hit live bait. But they will take a spoon as fast as you drop it down to them. Look for these fish north of Galts Ferry. Mid lake is where you want to be if you are looking for stripers. Bartow Carver to the dam is the place to be for stripers and bigger schools of Hybrids. These fish are not eating live bait either. I have had my best luck mid-lake pulling u-rigs the last few times out. These fish have moved out of the river channel and up on the edge of it. Look for these fish to be in water 20- 40 deep. I look for the live bait bite to start any-day now. And I think hitting to the lake without it could be a big mistake. This time of the year you need to be open minded on your techniques. Top water, trolling, spooning and live bait can all work this time of year, but what worked yesterday may not work tomorrow.... Take the kitchen sink with you when heading out to the pond this time of year..

I think striper fishing is only a few days away from busting wide open. And the top water bite is just around the corner to. I still have a few days open for Dec and Jan. Give me a call and lets go fishing..... 770 827-6282. And remember a TRIP WITH FIRST BITE GUIDE SERVICE.makes a GREAT Christmas gift... There is still plenty of time to get you gift certificates in time for Christmas..... 770 827-6282
