Lake Allatoona - Freshwater Fishing Report

This Lake Allatoona lfishing guides report for striper and hybrid has been brought to you exclusively by Robert Eidson of First Bite Guide Service 770 827-6282 www.firstbiteguideservice.com [email protected].
Line side fishing is Fair !! The Northerner end of the lake has almost completed turnover, but the fish still want bite. The live bait bite is very slow and is better in the late afternoon. Jig spooning is catching decent numbers of white bass with a few Flatheads in the mix and maybe the most consisted
Trolling - The umbrella rig bite is probably the best over all bite if your looking for Hybrids and Stripers.. But look for these fish to be on the smaller size. This week I have been pulling my rigs 75-80 feet behind the boat on a 16-20 bottom. These fish are on the move. So make sure you cover a lot of water. I have caught fish as far north as the S-turns this week all the south to the dam.
Top-Water bite is DEAD.... I have seen very limit top water action this week. And most of it seems to be spotted bass. I look for the top water bite to pick up after the lake finishes turning over.
I still have a few days open for Oct. Give me a call at 770 827-6282 for availability...
