Lake Allatoona Fishing Report ( Sept. Week 1)

Capt. Robert Eidson
September 1, 2009
Lake Allatoona - Freshwater Fishing Report

This Lake Allatoona striper and hybrid report fishing report has been brought to you exclusively by Robert Eidson of First Bite Guide Service, 770 827-6282. www.firstbiteguideservice.com Lake Allatoona, Georgia email: [email protected].

Line-sides: Incredible! For smaller Hybrids and White Bass. The top water bite is off the charts and can be found any where on the lake at any time of the day. These fish are schooling on top from sun up to sun down… Just ride until you find them. Mid-lake has been the best. And the Island at Harbor Town is a good place to start. Jr spooks, Jr flukes and roster tails fished on ultra lights with 6 lb test is working best for these little line-side.

The live bait bite is fair at best. Down-lining shiners and shad off of any main lake point down south is your best bet.. Fresh bait is key, so carry plenty of thread-fin or medium shiners, and make sure your hook matches the size of your bait.

With the cooler temperatures that we are having I look for the fishing to get really good in the next couple of weeks. If you would like to book a trip give me a call at 770 827-6282. Will are also starting to take booking for our fall trophy trips to Carters Lake call for detail....
